Designed for brushing clipped horses and ponies or those with a fine coat. This is a flexible brush which adjusts to the contours of your hand, making it very comfortable to use for both horse and owner.
The body brush is the final phase of brushing before a stable rubber or cloth to get that last top shine. A body brush is designed to go through the coat and get right down to the base, removing grease and dead skin cells from the base of the coat and giving a shiny finish. The body brush is used in conjunction with a curry comb, so for every few strokes with the body brush it is rubbed against the curry to remove any detritus from the body brush so as not to smear it back onto the horse. The curry comb then needs a tap on the floor or wall periodically to remove dirt build up.
