Gently tease the knots and tangles with your fingers to pull them apart before using the knot buster. Hold the hair close to the skin and comb the hooks through the knot away from the skin and body.  

With innovative safety blades only the con-caved portion of the blade is sharp enough to cut the hair. This tool allows you to correctly groom your dog without the need to cut matted fur out using scissors.

Great for long haired dog breeds and those with double coats to help prevent matted fur, knots and tangles.
